The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, December 17 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will not enable Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Also coming up, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will have first day jitters. Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is worried about her feelings for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). And Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) still doesn’t trust Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Y&R spoilers tease Claire will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) she’s nervous about her first day at Chancellor. “What if I let you down?” she’ll ask. But Nikki will say of course she won’t. “You’re overthinking this,” she’ll tell her. And Nikki will admit she’s nervous as well.

Meanwhile, Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) will show up at Nate’s place, just as Audra is getting ready to head out. After she leaves, Nate will tell Amy he has good news. The PI he hired has a lead on Damian and believes he’s in LA.
As for Audra, she’ll meet up with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at Crimson Lights. They’ll talk about her budding relationship with Billy and Audra’s relationship with Nate. Audra will mention the dinner with Nate’s family and how emotional she got.
Sally will ask if it was a calculated move to win over Nate’s family. But Audra will say the tears were real. “To be honest, it scares the hell out of me.” So, Sally will ask who she is and what she’s done with the real Audra Charles. She’ll also suggest Audra feels more for Nate than she’s letting on. “Raw emotion comes with the territory of falling in love.”
Meanwhile, Kyle will ask Diane when she was going to tell him about her latest passive aggressive move against him. “You still haven’t moved out of your office.” Diane will say it wasn’t on purpose. Then Kyle will add that he and Jack were just talking about whether they can trust her or not.
But Diane will reiterate she did not mean any of those horrible things she said. Kyle will tell her he still can’t help but be suspicious. “You still think that I’m the terrible person that I pretended to be,” Diane will reply. And Kyle will say he’s just trying to be honest.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Diane And Kyle Are Back At Square One
“It’s like we’re back at square one,” she’ll say. Kyle will apologize and tell her he really does want to fix this, he just has to get past this last obstacle. Then he’ll kiss his dejected mother on the cheek and head off to work.
Finally, Jack will meet with his brother at Society. Billy will say he’s got a proposal for him. He wants to take Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan and turn it back on him. “And I want your help to do that.” So, Jack will ask how he’s going to pull that off.
Billy will say he’s going to buy Chancellor out from under Victor, with Jack’s capital. But Jack will say he’s not going to undermine Nikki, who just took over. An angry Billy will tell Jack he’s made his list of people he can no longer trust. “Just one step below my mother.”
Jack will tell Billy he’s insulted, but he’ll still refuse to enable him. Billy will tell him he’s done. “And there is no coming back.” Jack will ask him if he can really deny that his bad choices have landed him in this predicament.
“What you think no longer matters,” Billy will reply. So, Jack will ask if he’s disowning him and no longer wants to be part of the family. “In one word, exactly,” Billy will tell him.
